Get up vs Stand up

"Get up" means "stop sleeping." Sometimes it means "stop relaxing" or "stop being lazy." If you have to leave the house for work at 7:00 a.m., you get up at 6:00.

"Stand up" means "stop sitting" or "rise to standing position." Usually people who are sitting in a chair first "stand up." In a church, the guests usually stand up when the bride appears.

These are their meanings as verbs. Both "get up" and "stand up" have other meanings, but I don't want ot confuse you.
